It is possible to upload profiles' URLs from a CSV file or copy and paste them directly into any Linked Helper Action Queue (but not into CRM directly).
Note:
- when using Upload Profiles URLs method, Linked Helper will take only URLs ignoring any other data such as first name, last name, tags, etc.
- it is possible to upload not only the URLs but some other data like names, headlines, etc. as well provided that the CSV file was generated by the Linked Helper version #1.8.23 or above. Please, check this article for more info: How to upload profiles' data from Linked Helper CSV file
Supported URLs

Precautions
Please note that LinkedIn may log you out if you navigate to ~50 LinkedIn profiles via their URLs not by finding them in the search results. You'll be logged out even if you do that manually. You can check this yourself in the Chrome browser, manually making the right-mouse-click on the profile name and choosing "Open in new tab option".
Linked Helper 2 avoids such logouts by "in-page navigation" i.e. it opens profile pages using the search bar, but in-page navigation doesn't work if Linked Helper doesn't have data on the profile's full name and some other data which usually happens when you upload URLs into Linked Helper instead of collecting profiles.
Solutions:
- If the CSV file you have was generated by the Linked Helper version lower than #1.8.22 or by any other program, then we`d recommend limiting “Load profile via URL” to 45 profiles per 24 hours (see the article on Working Hours and Limits p. Avoiding logouts). Please note that navigating to too many organizations through URLs may also lead to the same issue.
- If the CSV file was generated by the Linked Helper version #1.8.23 or above, then please use the method of uploading CSV shown in this article: How to upload profiles' data from Linked Helper CSV file
Possible issues and solutions
URLs are not recognized
If profiles with imported URLs were already added to the database, then Linked Helper will map imported URLs with the profiles and you will see those imported URLs as LinkedIn profiles. If imported URLs are new for Linked Helper and there is no profile with the same URL in the database, then you will not see any data apart from LinkedIn identifier:
There is nothing to worry about since URL is enough* for Linked Helper to run almost all Actions:
- Visit and extract profiles
- Follow/unfollow profiles
- Message to 1st connections
- Message to group members
- Message to event attendees
- Invite to group
- Invite to event
- Invite 2nd and 3rd level contacts
- InMail to 2nd & 3rd contacts
- Remove from 1st connections
- Endorse my contacts
- Filter contacts out of my network (keep 1st level only)**
- Invite to follow organization
- Send person to Zapier**
- Send person to Webhook**
- Delay between actions
- Invite person to Event
- Check for replies
Linked Helper scrapes profiles information during the visiting profile page for inviting, messaging, endorsing, etc.
URLs are not uploaded
If Linked Helper 2 shows that profile URLs are uploaded, but they haven't been uploaded, or profiles are not being uploaded at all, then you should know that this is not a Linked Helper 2 bug and may have happened due to the following reasons:
- The profiles are already in one of the sub-lists of your campaign.
If the profiles are already in the Queue, Exclude list or they were already processed by an action to which you are trying to upload these profiles, then Linked Helper 2 will not add these profiles in order to avoid duplicates - How to avoid duplicates
- The links in the CSV file were cut or formatted.
If you've edited profile URLs of your contacts and deleted some part of them, then such profile will not be uploaded to Linked Helper 2.
For example, let's take this Sales Navigator link: https://www.linkedin.com/sales/people/ACwAAA8BYqEBlKc364xhzvygIeuJJ3rATiwe2NE,NAME_SEARCH,Yebb
If you'll delete all data after the comma (so it looks like this https://www.linkedin.com/sales/people/ACwAAA8BYqEBlKc364xhzvygIeuJJ3rATiwe2NE), or the HTTPS part at the beginning (so it looks like this www.linkedin.com/sales/people/ACwAAA8BYqEBlKc364xhzvygIeuJJ3rATiwe2NE,NAME_SEARCH,Yebb), then the profile will not be uploaded since Linked Helper won't be able to recognize the URL.
- There are duplicated links in the CSV file.
If you have duplicate links in your CSV file, then Linked Helper 2 will not upload duplicates. Linked Helper 2 compares links by profile IDs', so if, for example, you have two links where one link looks like this https://www.linkedin.com/in/williamhgates/ and the other link looks like this https://www.linkedin.com/in/williamhgates (the "/" symbol is missing in the second case), then Linked Helper 2 will upload only one URL.

* If you upload Recruiter URLs only from one LinkedIn account into another one (without Recruiter subscription), then you will not be able to process them since Recruiter URLs cannot be processed on another LinkedIn account without subscription. However, when you collect profiles from Recruiter via Linked Helper and download them into a CSV, usual LinkedIn URLs are also extracted, so you can upload that CSV into any other LinkedIn account without Recruiter subscription.
** Filter contacts out of my network (keep 1st level only) Action does not visit profiles when checking whether they accepted your invite or not (read this article for more info), hence if you uploaded Sales Navigator URLs into LinkedIn account which has never processed such URLs, then such profiles will not be recognized till they are visited via any other function.
Send person to Zapier and Send person to Webhook actions do not visit profiles before executing. If you uploaded URLs that were never visited by Linked Helper (and hence no profile data can be linked with the URLs) right into the Queue of any action mentioned earlier, then only these URLs will be sent. You should consider visiting such URLs before sending them to Zapier / webhook.
