Adding profiles into campaign
After creating a campaign, all you need to do to populate it with profiles is:
- navigate to the page from where you want to add profiles and set up filters for your needs
- click on "add"->"from current page" button near "Queue"
By default, it is possible to add profiles only at the beginning of the workflow (e.g in the Queue of the 1st action of your Workflow). But with the "Multi-campaign runner" plugin installed, you can add profiles to any step of your workflow, for e.g right in the middle of the campaign.
It is possible to initiate collecting into the campaign from different places of the instance:
- from the Campaign menu:
- from the Workflow tab of the campaign by clicking on the list where you want to add profiles to or using "Add" button:
- from the Lists tab of the campaign, where you can choose a needed list (Queue or Exclude) and click Add contacts button:
Do not be confused by the fact that you can start collecting process from several places. All the above-mentioned ways will allow you to add profiles into the campaign, there is no much difference between them, it's more for your convenience.
Once any of the above-shown buttons is pressed, a window of choosing the source of profiles will be shown.
There you can:
- choose any supported LinkedIn platform (provided that you already have a corresponding subscription) and navigate to the supported page, My Network page for example:
- filter (1) profiles in the built-in CRM, select them (2), and add (3) to your campaign Queue or Exclude list:
- add profiles from any step / list of a campaign: just choose a campaign, choose what place you want to add profiles from (certain action list or the list of the whole campaign), click the list and then add:
- you can choose to collect profiles who commented or liked a post, but for this option to be available, you need to open a post via its unique link, here is the link for more info.
By installing the "Multi-campaign runner" plugin you also get additional ways of collecting profiles.
It is possible to initiate collecting into the campaign:
- from the Collect menu which appears after installing "Multi-campaign runner" plugin, where you need to choose a Source (1) where profiles will be collected from, and a list in the Target (2) where profiles will be collected to:
- from the "Workflow" tab you can now collect profiles into the Queue of any action, like collecting profiles directly into "Action#2", if you want them to be processed only from a certain point of the automated campaign
When the "Lists manager" plugin is installed, you can also use it to copy profiles from one campaign to another. "Lists manager" can be found in the "Functions" menu:
-
- in Source choose a Campaign where profiles will be copied from
- choose where you are going to add profiles: from a Campaign or Action list
- choose the list
- in Target choose a Campaign where profiles will be copied to
- choose where you are going to add profiles: from a Campaign or Action list
- choose the list
- click Add unique button
Adding profiles from within another list
There may be a situation when you need to copy profiles from a Campaign or Action list which you currently reviewing into another. For example, you just collected profiles from a certain company into the Exclude list of the current campaign and think they should be excluded from another campaign as well.
You can easily do that using Add to button (3), which is available from any list of any campaign. You can also filter profiles using built-in filters (1) and select all (2) or pick certain ones:
Then you will be able to choose a campaign and a list where those profiles must be added to:
With the "Multi-campaign runner" plugin installed, you will be able to add profiles not only to the Campaign Queue or Exclude list, but to any Action Queue as well:
Adding profiles from HTML
Linked Helper provides a huge variety of sources, where you can add profiles from, but unfortunately, not all pages are supported. However, as a workaround, you can upload the URLs from the unsupported page via standard Linked Helper function - uploading URLs. It is not as convenient as automatic collecting, but it will allow you to upload links without the need to copy and paste them one by one or making another search, hence saving your time and effort.
Here is the instruction:
- In your browser, open a LinkedIn page where you want to collect URLs from (let's take Jobs tab of the Notifications page as an example - https://www.linkedin.com/notifications/?filter=jobs_all).
- Scroll the page down as deep as possible.
Please, note that:- if there is a pagination (i.e. there are pages with results as you get in a usual LinkedIn search), then you need to save each page with results separately;
- if there is infinite scrolling (results are being loaded as you scroll down, like in the News feed or Notifications page), then you need to scroll down as deep as possible to fetch as many results as possible before saving the page;
- with infinite scrolling, it is not possible to start working from the place you stopped at after the page is closed or another page is opened.
- Make right-click on any place on the page.
- Choose Save as option:
- Save the page as Web page, Complete:
- Upload the HTML file as per the instruction in this article: How to Upload Profiles URLs into Linked Helper?
