Is there a global Exclude list?

In this article, we will touch the subject of excluding profiles from every campaign which can be helpful for sellers who have blacklists of certain potential customers. As of now, Linked Helper does not offer a blacklist that would allow skipping all profiles from any current and new campaigns. However, there a couple of ways to solve this issue.

Before proceeding, make sure you have Exclude list plug-in installed.

1. Separate campaign for 'global exclude list';
2. Use tags to exclude profiles;

Separate campaign for 'global exclude list'

The general idea is to create a campaign exclusively for keeping profiles you want to exclude from future campaigns using Lists manager.

1. Create a new campaign with only one Action, Visit & Extract profiles for example;
2. Collect or add profiles to exclude in the 'Global Exclude' campaign;
3. Now you can use lists manager to exclude profiles from other campaigns.
   • Create a new campaign from which you want to exclude profiles ("New campaign"); 
   • Install List manager plug-in;
   • Click on the 'Functions' tab and select 'List Manager';
   • Select 'Global Exclude' as a Source and 'New campaign' as a Target, click on 'Add unique';

 4. There is another way to add profiles to a new campaign:

• • create a new campaign ("New campaign" in our case) with an action;
  • Open the 'Lists' section, go to Exclude list and click add contacts;

• • In the "Choose source" window select 'Lists' and 'Global Exclude' campaign, click on 'queue', click 'add from selected';

Use tags to exclude profiles

Every profile processed in Linked Helper is saved in the CRM and it is possible to assign tags to every profile. For example, to each profile you would like to exclude you can add a 'Global Exclude' tag and then, after creating a new campaign, add profiles with such tag to the Exclude list.

1. Install Tagging system plug-in;
2. Install Built-in CRM plug-in;
3. Add tags to profiles you want to exclude - How to use tags in Linked Helper?
4. Now you can add such profiles from CRM sorted by this tag;
   • Create a new campaign from which you want to exclude profiles ("New campaign"); 
   • Open the 'Lists' section, 'Exclude list' and click 'add contacts':

• Select 'CRM' (1), filter those who have 'Global Exclude' tag (2), select all profiles (3), and click 'add contacts' (4):
