Create a new campaign.
In the "Campaign" menu, click on "Create campaign" or '+' button, choose the template, and click the "Continue with selected template" button:
Follow the steps of campaign generator:
- The first steps explains how this campaign works, read this carefully and click Next:
Since the employees found by this campaign cannot be saved to the Successful list of Employees extractor action, at the next step you need to choose a Queue of another Linked Helper campaign for profiles as a target where found employees will be stored and later processed.
Additionally, you can:- provide keywords for filtering; with multiple keywords provided, Linked Helper will use them one after another to create several keyword search requests and collect up to 1000 employees from every keyword search; as a result, it will be possible to collect 1000+ employees from one company;
- specify the maximum number of employees to collect from every company: with lots of keywords used one after another, it is possible to collect 1000+ employees from one company; with the limit set to 60, for example, collecting stops as soon as 60 employees are added to the target campaign queue, even if more than 60 are available or there are more keywords to use for search requests on this page.
- Choose a campaign to collect employees to:
- At this step, you can apply keywords that can be used in search requests in the People tab of the organizations. For example, if you want to find all CXOs, then you can use several keywords. Boolean search is also supported.
- Limit the number of employees to collect per campaign. When using lots of generic keywords, such as "manager", you can find hundreds or thousands of profiles in every campaign. To limit the number of employees to collect from a single company, you can set the number after which collecting process will be stopped and Linked Helper will navigate to another company:
Filter and collect organizations for scraping their employees
Once the campaign is created, Linked Helper offers you to add companies to the newly created campaign.
Note: Linked Helper doesn't have its own filters for collecting from LinkedIn it uses those of LinkedIn search, hence you need to finely filter companies in LinkedIn search to get the most qualified leads.
For that, you need to:
- Click the Continue button:
- Choose source. We will be collecting from LinkedIn, so you need to click on LinkedIn website:
- You can use LinkedIn, or Sales Navigator search pages to filter companies by the criteria you need. Let's choose regular LinkedIn:
- You will be redirected to LinkedIn or other platform search page after clicking the "Load page" button:
- As was already mentioned, Linked Helper relies on LinkedIn filters and simply collects all fetched companies, so you need to make sure you utilize them to the maximum and precisely filter out the one you wish to collect employees from.
Please, note that LinkedIn limits search results, so you need to split it if you want to collect more than 1000 companies: I have more than 1000 contacts. How to collect all of them thru search? - After applying all the required filters, begin the collecting process by clicking ‘Collect’ in the left menu and choosing the ’from current page’ option:

Review companies
You can check the collected companies in the Queue list:
There you can:
- exclude (with the Exclude list plug-in installed) some contacts in case you for some reason do not want to invite them - How to exclude contacts from a campaign in LH 2?;
- delete them;
- tag them (with the Tagging system plug-in installed).
Review Actions settings and adjust the workflow
Let's overview the campaign workflow and Action settings.
For that, you need to click the Campaign menu and navigate to the Workflow tab:
Once you click on the action name, you will see its settings on the right where you can:
- Choose whether Linked Helper needs to filter profiles by certain keywords or collect everyone from the People tab.
- If filtering by keywords is enabled, you can add any number of the keywords (boolean search phrases like "founder NOT CEO" can be used).
- Set the maximum number of profiles to collect. For example, if the number is 2000 and you add 5 keywords where each keyword search fetches 500 employees, then Linked Helper will collect only 2000 employees using the first four keywords. The rest will be skipped.
Please note that the maximum number of profiles shown is limited by LinkedIn to 1000 records, no matter whether or not a keyword is used. - Choose a campaign where found profiles will be added to. Since this campaign Queue consumes a list of companies and the Successful list produces a list of profiles, it is required to choose a Queue list of another Linked Helper campaign for people where those found profiles will be added to.
If you want to extract companies or send them into a webhook, you can add extra action by clicking the plus button below:
