General information
Automatic sent invites canceller plug-in automatically cancels all pending invitations that are older than X days. Cancelled invitations are moved from the Queue of the Pass only 1st-degree connections action into the Failed list with "The invitation was canceled" error.
You should not worry about the error as it is a predefined behavior and there is nothing wrong with your campaign:
To enable it please:
- Navigate to the Plug-in Store menu.
- Find Automatic sent invites canceller for Pass only 1st-degree connections plug-in and click Install button:
- Once the plug-in is installed, every Pass only 1st-degree connections action gets Automatic sent invites canceller tab where you can enable the feature:
Use case
LinkedIn monitors the number of unaccepted sent invitations made from your account. In Linked Helper, we recommend having less than 1,000 pending invitations or deleting all sent invites that were unaccepted within 2-3 weeks.
Of course, it is possible to start this function manually from the Functions menu, yet it can be a challenging task if you have more than one LinkedIn account to manage, as you need to keep this in mind and spend your valuable time.
With this feature enabled, you don’t need to monitor the number of unaccepted invitations as Linked Helper will automatically cancel all sent invites that are older than X days.
Detailed description
Pass only 1st-degree connections action searches for matches between its Queue and My network page of your LinkedIn accounts once every hour.
With the following conditions satisfied, Pass only 1st-degree connections Action initiates built-in sent invites canceller which goes to the list of outstanding pending invites and cancels all those older than X days (30 by default), no matter whether they were sent manually or via any Linked Helper campaign:
- Automatic sent invites canceller plugin is enabled;
- There are profiles in the campaign that were invited X days ago (as per the plug-in settings);
- The profiles were invited via the current campaign, i.e. they were not collected from the Sent invites page directly into the Queue of Pass only 1st-degree connections Action.
Once invitation is withdrawn, Linked Helper checks Queues of all Pass only 1st-degree connections actions and in case profile is found, moves the profile into the Failed list of the Action. This is predefined behaviour, and campaign will not be stopped because of too many errors.
