Use case
Action step delay settings allow you to customize pauses between every step to make Linked Helper process profiles faster or slower depending on your needs. For example, if your LinkedIn account is brand new or has not been used actively lately, you can increase time ranges to avoid bursts of activity that may seem suspicious to LinkedIn.
In a case where Linked Helper is scheduled to be active only for a certain time, you may need to process more profiles in a shorter period of time, and for that you can change the pauses as well.
Detailed description
This plug-in allows to set up timeouts between bunches and bunch size itself as well as pauses between each micro step. To better understand what this is for, one need to understand how Linked Helper works.
Bunch settings
The campaign workflow may contain several actions with profiles in their Queues, hence the program should split the activity evenly across all the Actions, switching between them from time to time. For that, a bunch and timeout between bunches exist.
In two words, the bunch size defines how many profiles will be processed in one go before Linked Helper putting the Action into a sleep mode and moving to the next Action. Timeout is time during which the Action will stay inactive. Thus, when one Action is on pause, Linked Helper switches to the other.
Text input method
Select Text input method which also affects the speed of processing profiles. If you have a pretty long message template of 3 000 characters, for example, then sending hundreds of messages can take a while with Type option chosen as typing is naturally slower than pasting. Linked Helper imitates human activity and types at a moderate speed. Random is chosen by default as a good alternative since it is not unusual for LinkedIn users to paste messages, especially generic ones.
Delay presets
To imitate human activity, the tool makes pauses between Action steps such as clicking buttons, navigating to profiles, or inserting text to imitate human activity. To look more natural and avoid robot-like behavior, Linked Helper constantly changes pause duration, i.e. it takes a random number from the corresponding line of Delay settings tab of the Action as a number of seconds before next step.
The smaller range is (Fast delays), the smaller pauses are, the faster Linked Helper processes profiles, and vice versa, the larger range is (Safe delays), the longer pauses are, hence the less activity density is which is safer for your LinkedIn account than doing high amount of actions in a short time.
How To
Safe delays are helpful when LinkedIn account is fresh new or hasn't been active for a long time. Bunch settings along with Advanced limits allow you to limit daily activity of a certain Action in certain Campaign:
